Sisters Pickleball club

Great News!  On Thursday night, January 18, 2024, the SPRD  Board held a special meeting.  At that meeting the  Board unanimously approved the staff’s  recommendation as presented, to include 8  dedicated outdoor pickleball courts and 8 other amenities in the site design of the old Sisters Elementary School.  This recommendation will go  back to the DLA consultants to be reflected in  their next draft. On June 18th the first Club sponsored tournament was held at the Middle School/High School tennis courts.  Team leadership taped four temporary courts for the two levels of competition.  Sixteen members played in each bracket for a total of 32 players playing in a round robin format.  A gallery cheered the players as all were winners because everyone had a great time.
