Welcome to Sisters Pickleball Club

Club History

Sisters Country Pickleball Club started as a committee/activity of Sisters Park & Recreation District (SPRD), but as of October 10, 2024, the Sisters Pickleball Club (SPC)  is an independent 501(c)(7). We will continue to have a strong relationship with SPRD and will jointly work on the construction and maintenance of the new public courts.

Mission, vision, and values

Mission

The mission of the SPC is to  promote the development and growth of pickleball in Sisters and the central Oregon community. The club welcomes residents and visitors of all ages and abilities to participate in recreational and competitive pickleball play at the public courts through activities that will enhance fitness and well-being for the entire community. The SPC is supported by membership in the Club and energized by community support.


Vision

We will be the model for private/public cooperation making pickleball accessible to all by creating a positive pickleball experience in the Sisters Country.

Code of Conduct

Pickleball will succeed best if its members and participants embrace the values of good sportsmanship. It is essential that Sisters Pickleball Club members promote this mission, model good behavior, lead by example, and show self-control in pledging as follows:


   1. I will not engage in unsportsmanlike conduct or encourage others to do so.

   2. I will not engage in any behavior that would endanger the health, safety, or wellbeing of others. 

   3. I will not engage in the use of obscene language or gestures.

   4. I will not flaunt my position. 

   5. I will not use Sisters Pickleball Club records or materials for personal gain. 

   6. I will treat others with respect. 

   7. I will exhibit fairness and honesty in my dealings with others. 

   8. I will support SPC Pickleball policies, procedures, plans and initiatives. 

   9. I will accept responsibility for my own actions. 

   10. I will exemplify the highest standard in ethical behavior and fair play. 

   11. I will engage in conduct that is free from fear, discrimination, abuse, and harassment.
